Edward and Alphonse were back in their dorm room in the headquarters. Edward's red trenchcoat lay limp across the table and he sat on the bed, staring at the blue rose in his palm. Alphonse stood at the window, looking out at everything happening down below. He still didn't understand why Edward wanted to keep this secret. Edward set the rose on the end table next to the bed and sat with his elbows resting on his legs, his arms hanging limp.

"Al.... What....." Alphonse turned from the window.

"Yes?"

"What.... what do you think Vanity... or Karin..... whoever that was..... what would she want with revenge?" Al sat next to Ed on the bed.

"I don't know, Brother. But somebody needs to stop her before someone gets hurt." Ed looked up at Al and nodded with a slight smile.

"You're right...." Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.

"Fullmetal, open up." It was Mustang.
